It’s that time of year again when we look forward to a clean slate as we ring in 2014. Perhaps when looking back on this past year of 2013, you find yourself plowing over bad decisions, and missed opportunities. But, no worries. Now is the time to set your New Years Resolutions, and look forward to an even better 2014.

1. This year, have it all.

Last year you may have found yourself precariously facing the choice of sleep, a social life, or grades. However, this year, make the resolution to have it all. After all, college only lasts for a few years. Make the most of it! With eFaqt, you can have good grades faster, by studying more efficiently. That way, you’ll still have plenty of time for sleeping and socializing. Take that, 2014!

2. Study smarter. Not harder.

We all seem to have this misconception that in order to get the grades we want, we have to study like a maniac. And, that might be true, if you’re studying inefficiently. We all know that feeling of standing up after an 8 hour study session, collecting our books, and realizing that we didn’t actually learn anything. With eFaqt, get structured, and start studying smarter.

3. Conquer procrastination.

It’s super easy to get sucked into Facebook, Twitter, or any of the other millions of apps that are available, especially when studying.   If you don’t believe us, check out the number of tweets each hour that say, “I should be studying”. In 2014, make the resolution to procrastinate less, and live life more fully. For studying, it’s easy to stay focused with eFaqt. We’ll play a gentle reminder sound when you’ve been inactive on eFaqt for over 5 minutes (i.e. surfing Facebook, oh yeah, we know what you’re up to).

4. Do away with outdated methods.

Don’t study like it’s 1999, join us in the present and use technology to make studying easier. Research has even shown that highlighting is not the best way to commit information to memory. Instead, making a flashcard, a question and an answer to quiz yourself with, is a much more effective way of remembering all the info you need for your tests. So, try it out, and sign up for eFaqt today!

5. Live life to the fullest!

Now that you’re ready to use eFaqt in 2014 to study less, you’re going to have more free time to do what you love. Whether it’s hanging out with friends, or taking up a new hobby, find that thing you’ve missed out on in 2013, and really go for it this year!
