Student life

Let’s be real. Studying without snacks is not really studying. Usually, if we have a few cups of coffee and something to crunch, that’s all we need to get everything done. But if you’re like me, you’re tired of eating Oreos and chips every time you’re trying to study. So here are a bunch of quick, easy and cheap recipes from Tasty that you can cook in your dorm:

1.Tornado Potato

Devices: if you can use the oven in the common kitchen, that’s great. If not, the tiny microwave in your room will do just fine.

Ingredients: 2 potatoes, melted butter, parmesan cheese, seasoning (black pepper, salt, paprika, garlic powder).

2.Flourless Peanut Butter, Oat & Banana Pancakes

Devices: the stove in the common kitchen or any small portable stove

Ingredients: 2 bananas, 3 eggs, peanut butter, quick cooking oats, chocolate chips, a pinch of salt

3.Garlic Parmesan Biscuit Roll-Ups

Devices: either a big oven or a small microwave

Ingredients: biscuit dough from the store, garlic, parsley, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese

4.Chocolate Hazelnut Soufflé

Devices: A simple microwave

Ingredients: Nutella, 2 eggs, sugar, unsalted butter, and cocoa powder

5.Pizza Bombs

Devices: The oven or the microwave

Ingredients: biscuit dough from the store, marinara sauce, pepperoni, mozzarella, melted butter, and seasoning (garlic, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning)
