eFaqt users with a Pro or Unlimited subscription can make use of the Reading comprehension feature. The reading comprehension feature lets you answer two short questions before you start making flashcards and notes for a new chapter. Answering these short reading comprehension questions help organize your thoughts and understand the material better.
- In your summary screen click on “edit”
- Next click on “Comprehension”. The screen below will pop up.
The first question prepares you for studying: “What do you expect to learn? Insert some keywords”. It helps you get familiar with the topic before you start reading it into details, so you will not get lost in irrelevant side details.
The second question helps you understand the structure of your material, using the logic in the table of contents: “Why do you thinks the author made chapter XX a part of XX?” or “Why do you think the author made chapter XX a part of chapter XX?” It helps you understand why you study a certain chapter and how that chapter fits into the bigger picture.
