Most people don't apply the right skills while studying. Learning is easy when applying the right skills.
It results in better understanding, longer retention and better concentration.

Dear reader, I am writing this story to explain the roots and the philosophy of eFaqt. Throughout my life, starting in primary school, I was having troubles with studying. I was heavily dyslectic, had great troubles concentrating and found it very difficult understanding the huge amount of text that had to be studied. After having to change school for several times in order to obtain the right guidance and care, I managed to end up in university. However, things still didn`t go to well. Again I went through lots of courses and guiding programs to be able to keep up with the great challenges that university students face. During these courses I learned a lot about Tony Buzan`s Mind Mapping, the Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review reading pattern (SQRRR), Lazanov`s alfa learning, Ebbinghous`s reviewing schedule and many more speed learning methodologies. After experiencing great improvement in my own study results, the idea of combining all these methods into one digital online system crossed my mind: eFaqt was born. I felt very dedicated to helping others improving their study methods and grades, since I did not want them to go through all these troubles and courses I had to go through. Learning is really something you can learn, and receiving good grades is very much depending on the the study skills you are using. After pitching for venture capital while graduating in Industrial engineering and management at the state university of Groningen (the Netherlands), we started building eFaqt as a rigid and strict study tool. Pilots at the Hanze Hogeschool, the University of Groningen, Shell Learning and ABN Amro Academy brought us to the next step: we transformed the system into a general study tool which helps every student in achieving higher grades and learning faster by organizing their notes on books and articles and use the proven study methods eFaqt provides in the way he of she likes. Hereby I would now like to invite you to start using the system to study more effectively and improve your grades. I hope you will find it just as useful as I do with my studies. If you have any questions on learning, the study methods eFaqt uses, eFaqt it self or anything else, please contact me in person via christiaan.henny@efaqt.com Kind regards and all the best with your studies, Christiaan Founder of eFaqt |
